Candle Care

We want to ensure you achieve optimum burn time with your candles from The Rode! Here are some are some tips and best candle practices to follow.

Get the most out of your candles:

Always light both wicks at the same time, allowing the candle to fully pool. This will ensure the wax burns evenly.

Burn for a minimum of 2 or 3 hours at a time to ensure the melted wax pool has reached the sides of the jar, optimizing your burn time.

Due to the nature of the natural wooden wicks, flame height may shrink. As long as it stays lit, continue to let it burn. If you notice your flame getting low after burning the candle for a long period of time, it may be necessary to extinguish the flame and when both the wax and wick are cool, tap off any excess ash along the top of the wick.

Protect the candle from areas where breezes, ceiling fans, and drafts are present.

Never leave the candle burning unattended

Do not burn the candle for more than 4 hours at a time

Keep away from flammable materials

Keep away from children and pets

Do not move or handle the candle when it is burning
